A&W Restaurant - Cambridge

The burger was served lukewarm with unmelted cheese and undercooked in the middle. The fries were the only redeeming quality, but still only deserves a one-star rating. I will stick with Wendy's next time.

After a back and forth, I was asked for $12.56, when it should have been $11.30. Despite being the only customer at the time, my order took a long time to be delivered to my car. When I finally received my food and opened my sandwich, I found it saturated in grease and poorly made. It seemed like they had tampered with it. The woman at the window was rude despite my attempts to be polite and explain the situation. I do not recommend this place as it is gross and potentially dangerous. The staff may try to overcharge customers and tamper with their food. A disappointing experience overall.

We love A W, but it's just okay now. Nothing special about this restaurant. No special prices like other restaurants.

We have always preferred A and W over other fast-food chains, because their packaging is compostable, they use natural cane sugar in their root beer with no artificial additives, food quality is just better and fresher, and so on... But today we were wow'ed at...the Hespeler Rd Cambridge location by the staff. They went out of their way to make sure my food was safe for me, as I am gluten free, and don't eat meat or dairy. They even saved me money by ringing in my bunless Beyond meat burger, in such a way that it was 3 dollars less. The restaurant is clean, and the staff are always pleasant.

This restaurant is consistently good, and even better when using a coupon. The staff are very friendly, and it's a great dining option that is superior to most other A&W locations and definitely much better than McDonald's.
