The restaurant has excellent natural light, and the vintage booth seating by the wall is very cozy and welcoming. We enjoy eating BBQ pork slices and BBQ chicken rice plates there. Delicious food, super comforting with everything in a decent portion size. Solid for the price. Service is speedy. We’ll certainly have to come back when we’re in the area again.
Tuesday night approximately 6:30 pm.Sat down immediately.Ordered Avocado Rolls with Peanut Sauce it might sound like an odd pairing but it's DELICIOUS. Tonights rolls were a touch light on the avocado but fresh and creamy as always. If you like avocado, I highly recommend them! Two #45 Tofu Veggie Pho. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, the tofu firm and fresh, the broth was clean tasting and super hot, the portions are crazy generous and the condiments are very fresh.Le Quy has been our go to for years. We do avoid the Bok Choy in our pho because if anything might leech a non fresh or fishy taste from the refrigeration, it's usually that, but if that doesn't bother you then give it a try.Enjoy!
LeQuy is a reliable locals eatery that I will return to again and again. Our most recent visit felt different because the food was particularly better this time, not that it wasn't good before. Being a locals place means there isn't a lot of fanfare or ambiance... it's just good food! The atmosphere reminds me of an old-school diner but without the traditional American diner food. Its diner vibe is also reflected in the service: efficient but lacking in personality. Admittedly, that might be because I don't visit often enough to really connect. The space is a bit cluttered with houseplants in varying states of health and out-of-season holiday decor. When I visited, it appeared to be popular with young families. This is a recurring theme, but really, it's open to everyone. Excellent parking, being attached to a strip mall. I see it best as a lunch spot.
Very Americanized viet food. The flavors are lacking and not authentic. Got the caramelized clay pot fish and it made me sad. Also 3 small chunks of fish for the price made me sad. Even the spring rolls didn’t taste right and all the ingredients were there. Maybe because they diluted the peanut sauce or maybe because they chopped up the lettuce into bits.
