It can be challenging to avoid shrimp paste in Thai food. Unfortunately, there was no dedicated vegan menu available. Our waiter instructed me to specify my dietary needs, and he would confirm if it was suitable. I made it clear that I had a shrimp paste allergy. After ordering the vegetarian pad thai, the waiter inquired about the severity of my allergy, which was concerning. Despite my initial doubts, the food was delicious, and I did not have any allergic reactions. However, I left with reservations about the restaurant's commitment to veganism.
We ate there recently on the basis of this listing dinner. while I’m not strictly vegan, I’m vegetarian with some food allergies, including to cancer. in thai food, it can be difficult to avoid, in particular, garnel paste. for a start there was no dedicated vegan menu in this restaurant. our waiter told him I should ask him what I wanted, and he would tell me if it was okay. I made it clear that I was allergic to garnel paste. after the order (I went for the vegetarian pad thai) he came out and asked me exactly how allergic they are, who do not inspire a great deal trust! Anyway, that was eating at the end delicious and I was in order, but I left myself quite invinced by her vegan credentials.
Simply the best Thai restaurant in canberra! Actually it is probably the best restaurant canberra overall and it is finally back! the best eating, incredibly friendly and friendly staff that she will treat like family, great prices, they just can’t go wrong with alice’s!
I don't know if it's the best thai restaurant in canberra, but eating was really good, garnish were great and the aromen were not too western very close to the real thing.
Delicious food, good price, really nice service. I was taken away, but the restaurant seemed to have a nice ambiente. I recommend when I'm back in canberra.
