I am extremely careful when I hear "malayali food" outside of kerala. while I think that mahabelly in new delhi is the only restaurant outside kerala that serves authentic Malayali food, have proven binnys kathitto in braddon me wrong and young was I happy? while binny's served Indian street food tariff, there is no denying that their malayali eating is a standout. I ordered onion pakodas, lamb seah kebab, kerala porotta and beef ularthiyathu. the wobbly pakodas were just perfect. but the star of all was the divine bark meat ularthiyathu! nothing can be better than mildly seasoned, tasteful bark cubes cooked with cocosrases. binny did it right and I did not hesitate for a moment...read more
Canberra has always lacked a good Indian restaurant; it always made me wonder how terrible wrong we get when it comes to making Indian food. a big thanks to binnys kathitho to rise clearly and be a clearer winner. had heard so much about the restaurent not only from life means online, but also from some of my friends, but u was still comprehending due to my earlier experience with Indian restaurent. started with Palak chat and chicken kathi, which clearly the ton for the pornstar. there were no exaggerated aromen; and everything just went into the most perfect mix of aromen. in the net had lamb curry; chickenbiryani, who were clear winners and not to forget the butter chicken(better...read more
The food was quiet, the huh was gummy! in addition extremely poor service and discourage the behavior of the owner! a sheer money!
Interesting menu, have been a few times. Loved the mild mutton stew as well as the chicken curry with appam. Great service, I noted that my sweet lassi was more sour than sweet and they insisted on having a fresh one made. The dosas don't have semolina so great for people looking for gluten free options. The layered parothas are so soft and buttery. Some of the curries are fairly spicy so if you have a low tolerance good idea to check.
