Toscana Brick Oven - Canonsburg

I really like the food here. They take simple dishes and make them exceptional. Choose any appetizer and order a double and enjoy. Relax and don't hurry. The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. I know everyone likes the location, but I didn't get used to it. If you like South Pointe, drive comfortably there.

I was here 1/2 dozen times and never write reviews? the wedding soup is fantastic and the summercaprese salad with fresh basil is great? 2 nights in a row! And the prices are super reasonable?

Four of us were looking for a place and decided to come here for dinner. We made a reservation as it was a Saturday night and arrived at the right time. After all, the host came out of a back room to welcome us. He offered us indoor or outdoor seats, as there were several tables in both areas. We picked a place and he took us there right away. I guess a reservation was not really necessary. We've set ourselves and got through the menu. The manager came for a short conversation and among other things explained that they were short disturbed (like all the restaurants in these days), but we also talked about their food, the special of the day (dry) and a few other things. The waitress also came by and we ordered our selection: A veggie pizza, the eggplant parm, Chicken Marsala and Shrimp Pasta dish. We ordered a glass of wine or a drink. We passed on appetizers or salads. A few minutes later the waitress came back with a bread plate, which also had a square dish of olive oil with some herbs in it. While we wish there were more herbs in the oil, the fact that the bread was served warm was a certain plus! The food arrived in time and it was done well. All dishes were good and none of them were exceptional. The reason I mention this is that you probably noticed that I gave this restaurant a rating of four stars. The reason I decided not to go with a five-star rating, although almost all my comments are positive is that while everything was good, the prices are high for what you get. We spent $40 per person. That's why we have a duck and a drink. For this price I want to get food that is made exceptionally good. This was good, but not so much better than restaurants where I would pay $25 per person for the same dishes. The environment is pleasant both in the indoor and outdoor areas. There is also a semi-private area in the back where private parties can be treated. The staff was professional and attentive. They cough during meal and restaurant. A beautiful place.

I have eaten here many times. They are no longer open at lunch, but when they were the menu was fantastic. Their pizza is really good as is their pasta. They have really nice drink options. Price is on the more expensive side.
