The Cooking Diva Canton Ms

My experience here today (4/11/2023) was fantastic!The building is a clean bright beautiful white, with black shutters and a bright red door, it grabbed my attention immediately!As I walked in, I was met with such a delightful aroma of SOUL FOOD! The staff there was super friendly and welcomed me in with smiles and excellent service!I ordered the fried chicken white meat meal (breast wing), with 2 sides (cabbage yams) a sweet tea!The chicken was a beautiful golden color seasoned just right, I love the tiny bit of heat in it every juicy bite!The Cabbage was nicely seasoned with hamhock with a taste of fresh cracked black pepper!The yams were not to sweet had a nice undertone of butter, like a savory baked sweet potato.I am so happy I decided to come try The Cooking Diva!I wish I had come sooner they stayed open past 2p!I 'll be back though!Vegetarian options: They sell vegetable plates (sides only).Parking: Open parking all around.Kid-friendliness: Seems family friendly and plenty of space to accommodate families.

Oooooh boy, how I dream about this food! Everything from the fried chicken, dumpling, and cabbage to the banana pudding was loaded with flavor. My tastebuds left very satisfied!! (Food was so good I completely forgot to take a photo of my meal haha) But I’d recommend swinging by this adorable house restaurant and giving them a try!

Omg, this place did not disappoint. It was the first time eating and hearing about this place and it was amazing the soul food was hot to order and seasoned really well. I will l recommend this place to anyone visiting in the area.
