Miyako Japanese - Capitola

Food was OK, pricey is an understatement. Take your check book!

You have the authentic and fresh sashimi in the city, salmon, uni and tuna.. They also have the best salmon skin handroll compared to others. I also want to order combo tempura with vegi and shrimp. Quality is pretty consistent since I've been there more than 6 times!

We enjoyed the atmosphere. There was a calming sea view on both TVs instead of loud sports. The Chirashi dinner was excellent and the Jalapeño appetizer was really good. The staff was very polite and attentive.

Treated my brother to dinner for his birthday. This was a great spot with outstanding service and delicious sushi. Also the tempura green tea ice cream was the best!!

Ordered Lion King Sushi Roll, salmon teriyaki bento box with veggies tempura, and udon noodle soup; ALL were of excellent quality. Service staff is not attentive. Good spot for everyday japanese food influenced by CA tastes.
