Le rendez vous - Carcassonne

An inconceivable small space in a large retail park, but once inside it is a clean and efficient brasserie. a simple formula menu of good value, but we decided to eat a la carte and had a large entrecôte, served with fresh ratatouille and homemade fries. good value, clean and very friendly service. give the almost food restaurants a miss and try this place. we come back.

The hotel is located in a large industrial and shopping area, was a bit uncovered. since most shops and outlets closed around a few hours at 12:30 clock 12:30 clock, it offered a chance to have lunch while on the reopening of them...all it was also very busy and offers clearly something that is needed in the region. while being in a shopping and parking area, the location is pleasant enough on a sunny day and offers outside seat next to a small area of the huge parking space. the menu offered is both à la carte and formule . we chose the formule option, the three courses for 16 euro. this is more extraordinary worth considering that the portions are generous and the quality of food, very good. Of course, this was added to our restaurants when shopping in carcassonne and is currently the top of the list!

There were four of us. We wanted a relatively inexpensive and quick lunch. We found the right place. The very friendly (but a bit hit and miss) service .... we got used to!The avocado & crevette starters were fine. The mains were grilled salmon pieces which were - surprise, surprise - very good in deed with a nice sauce and well delivered rice. Three deserts (one glace - very good, 2 strawberry melbas, again very good, one of our party skipped desert -> a mistake). There was a demi rose and one bottle of beer. It all came to about €70 - pretty good value. And it was nice sitting outside too!

Shopping in the area and found this place. Had the lunch special, which was salmon in a light sauce with a side of nicely cooked courgettes and rattatouille. My companion has sorbet for dessert, while I had light creame cheese with honey. The food was very good, and the wine selection good.

Located just on the edge of a shopping square, you can find this little gem. It may be on the edge of a car park but DO NOT let this put you off. The décor is clean and simple and the food is superb. The staff are efficient, quick to take your order and ready to suggest meals of the day. If you prefer you can just have a coffee accompanied with crepes or cakes or maybe just an ice cold beer. well worth a visit after a long morning shopping.
