The Early Bird - Cardiff

Beautiful little hidden gem of a caffe. a friend and had planned to go before the pandemic, but never get the chance before they closed. we have waited 8 months to go, but we have finally managed and we are very happy! sat out in the back, pretty warm out there through the cover, feels like a bit of a sun protection. everything socially distant, as they would expect. Online order via her phone with a table number. I chose a sweet breakfast, strawberry and cream brioche French toast, which was amazing. in any case for someone with a sweet tooth. also a hot chocolate that was beautiful. my friend had cooked something she said was nice. would definitely go back to plow through the menu, many options for veggie vegan also. each article seems a little twisted to make it better than its standard breakfast. baked were delivered by their sister company friends in lick. would recommend.

I absolutely adored this restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious English breakfast, both the regular and vegetarian options, and every bite was a delight! The fact that they bake their own bread and pastries, make their own lemonades, and serve great coffee shows how much they care about the food they offer. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, despite the small size of the restaurant. Additionally, they have a lovely garden out back. I highly recommend this place!

I love this place one of my favorite cafés in cardiff. the staff is super sweet and their collection of coffee and cake is great. the prices are also great for the service and the ambiente. the place where I want to refresh all day! also a great place if they only search for a quiet place to work.

Great local cafe for breakfast and brunch. Food was great and there are plenty of options, coffee was fine and staff were really friendly. There is extra covered seating out the back and they are dog friendly.

A little Gem in rows of terraced houses….I would have never found it, we’re it not for our local guide. Pancake Stack on bacon was quite nice…..
