I order a student tiffin from here for only £5 per night, and I love the amount and quality of the food. there is always a Gujrati daal, a sweet (sabji), rice and 3 rotis that are sent. I think that wfs should give the students a chance if they want the same channel daily or not as everyone likes it.
Even though the Vegetarian Food Studio’s special thali is cheap as chips, the flavours and textures on show didn’t blow me away. Perhaps there are richer pickings to be had from their main menu.
Huge menu with many vegan options. all I have tried was absolutely delicious, but some dishes are very spicy, so note the spicy that is marked.) the thali is really good, as they receive a complete meal including dessert at a good price. they can bring their own alcohol-collection fee), which is excellent if they want a few drinks cheap.
We visited on a cold, windy Saturday in December (real, my birthday, as it happened) my partner had a Gujerati curry and I went for iddli sambar. it was okay, but in my opinion, a true sambar should be quite thin, and they should be able to taste curry leaves and tamarinde. this lonely was a thicker stew, the dominant spicy was cumin. I also think that idyllia should be quite easy, and that was hard. it was in the round a Nordic iddli sambar. the kingfisher was nice, but I would have preferred an ipa that is the best beer to accompany Indian food when they ask me.
