Fresco Cocina - Carlsbad

I almost don't want to post a positive review because I love this space so much and want to continue to get a table there. The food is phenomenal. Only gripe is that even after telling the server I was gluten-free, he let us order something that was wrapped in dough (the taquenos), without telling me. Oh well, still a great experience overall.

Everything about our experience was excellent. We started out with a reservation for 4 which changed to 5 and then to 6. They accommodated all of our needs with a smile. Our server (Nathan) was fantastic. The food was the best meal out in Carlsbad in a long time. Every single thing was amazing… calamari, ceviche, cornbread, beef with chimichurri, salmon with mole seasoning, grilled fish tacos, and more. The cocktails were delicious and creative. My new favorite restaurant in the Village.

We went here for brunch. It was a lovely experience. The drinks, staff and food were great. It was a rainy day so the place was pretty empty, though the staff was still very attentive. Even in the rainy weather it was a nice vibe. The food was flavorful and drinks were pretty and so refreshing. Would for sure go again.

Good but pricey. Very loud but it was a Friday night. Service good. Churrasco tasty. Fish Tacos (3) were huge.
