There were three of us dining together, but the food for two of us arrived about 20 minutes apart and the third person's lunch never arrived at all. The hot drinks machines were not working, and the staff were not very helpful. The floor was dirty and the cutlery needed to be washed properly. Overall, this was not an experience I would want to repeat.
Is there anyone working at this cafe? Every time we visit, it seems like there is no service or it's closed. This is one of the worst Morrisons cafes in the area. The store manager needs to be reprimanded by the district manager. We have visited during opening hours only to find it closed or closing. They don't have any hot food available. They turn customers away with various excuses even when they are open. The cafe manager should receive some retraining or be let go. It's a waste of time to even bother going there anymore.
I have visited the cafe at Morrisons Carmarthen many times. Unfortunately, each time I have found it to be cold, understaffed, untidy, and with limited menu options. However, during my most recent visit in July, I was pleasantly surprised to have a hot lunch as the food was still being prepared. The fish and chips were delicious, but the overall cleanliness of the cafe left much to be desired. There was a leak from the hot water dispenser and no one had cleaned it up or blocked it off. I had to warn another customer about the spill near the cutlery counter. Most of the tables were left messy with used plates, and it was clear that the cafe needed a dedicated staff member to clean up and refill cutlery. In conclusion, the cafe at Morrisons Carmarthen requires more attention, care, and staffing.
Called to buy a few items from Morrisons this morning and decided to buy a coffee whilst waiting for the next bus. A member a staff appeared immediately but it was necessary to use the vending machine. I must be totally honest it is probably the worst cup of coffee I have ever tasted. Not sure if there was a problem with the machine. Sorry Morrisons but that was my experience earlier today
Coffee machines rarely work properly, menu choice not always available. Shortage of staff does not help the situation. Standards have gone down and prices are obviously up. This is not what Morrissons stood for before, if the new owners think this acceptable they are sadly mistaken.
