What I like about this place is that it feels like it could be in spania. no fanciness! easy eating, friendly staff, basic setting. very relaxing. fish and potatoes were delicious.
Our conference organisers booked Chez Ana for a group of ten. We were somewhat disconcerted by the two diametrically opposite reviews on Tripadvisor. The experience was a relief. The restaurant was largely full with locals, many Spanish. Although it was a busy Saturday evening the...service was friendly and attentive though it helps to be able to speak some Spanish, since their French is not brilliant. After substantial starters some of us had the fried fish, the others paella, both excellent. I could not tell whether any of it had been frozen, but serving seafood in Geneva this would not have been unreasonable. Very generous portions more than we could eat.
Really traditional home made Spanish food. when they know spanies, they believe that they were transported there! deco, weine, beer, salat, service, atmosphere. customers! all 100% spanies (galicia) the prices are very correct and the house wine ramón bilbao, simply excellent. lsalud!
Friendly service, seemingly authentic Spanish, and good for tapas. from any reason however chronically undersalted dishes, an salat starter that was much greater than the main course, and an inexplicably massive and random tortilla. I have the impression that our order was lost in translation (it was. so Spanish that it was only one of the waiters spoke), and we had to ask for our change back because the waitress just took our money and assumed that we left a massive tip. good terrace area that should be beautiful in summer, but all in everything, strange and spanish. in balance, stranger.
