Japanese tapas-style service run by Japanese people. Everything tasted fresh and they even had takoyaki balls. Friendly personnel.
My favorite Japanese restaurant in Barcelona. In simple and small venue but with excellent and inexpensive food.
We visited this restaurant whilst on holiday in Provence and were not disappointed. The first time was on the day of our arrival after 12 hours driving down from London and the second was a more relaxed affair yesterday evening. On each occasion the food was excellent, the service good and the location unique. Very good value. Book early to avoid disappointment.
We regularly return to this wonderful restaurant nestling in the ramparts of picturesque Venasque. We always ask for a table on the terrace and enjoy the Provençal food which is full of colour and flavour. We ate from the €27 menu and the tomato tart tatin bursts with flavour. We followed with pulled lamb with a flaggolet topping coated in herb crisped breadcrumbs. It was exceptionally tasty. Every dish is beautifully garnished echoing the colours of the region... Pesto, diced tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes....Next came a tray of 8-9 chèvre cheeses to share, only tiny pieces but so very enjoyable. We indulged in a dessert made on the premises. It was the cherry festival and the restaurant was bursting but service was excellent.
