Their food is so very creative but still easy to eat. Also, they have a wonderful selection of wines, very reasonably prices. And a dog friendly patio! Our only downside was that it is still too reminiscent of TGIFridays. Hopefully, they will work on the décor more. But service was great and we will be back!
Wine glass was covered in lip stick and we needed to send it back. Our food was just OK nothing special. While our order was fine, it seemed like every table around us had something wrong with their order. Just an ok place. There are too many options out there so they need to raise their game in order to compete.
Casual dinner for two. This restaurant has a farm to table approach focused on local produce, meats, craft beers. Started in the bar with one of their signature cocktails and a glass of wine. Great bar service from attentive and friendly Kristen and Travis. We were having such a pleasant time over cocktails opted to forgo dining room table stay in the bar to watch the NBA Finals pregame. The menu is seasonal and the entrees are in the $14-20 price range. We tried the fried green tomatoes and chicken finger appetizers, the fried green tomatoes were good and the chicken fingers were large, juicy an cooked perfectly. I went with a burger and my wife had the fish and chips. Both were well prepared and delicious. We had a very enjoyable experience, well prepared dishes of generous portion and reasonably priced.
I met a friend for a very light lunch. We both just had appetizers; fried green tomatoes and chicken quesadillas. Both were very large portions; perfect for sharing. And both were yummy. The fried green tomatoes were served on grits with a little marinara sauce. The quesadillas came with quac and salsa on the side. The restaurant was not busy. On the puzzling side, my coffee was served in a cup with no saucer. The checks were brought as cash register print outs without folders. Our server was accommodating. The decor was fun. I'd go back.
I had high hopes for this restaurant, watching the reports of it opening in Cary. Even after a friend said the food was awful I still made a point to go check it out for myself. My friends and I were very disappointed in the service, from the hostess telling me to wait 5 more minutes until my actual reservation time to the waitress saying their mac n cheese was dry . Still I ordered the shrimp and grits and gave it a shot. My 2 friends had very over fried, hard, crunchy fish n chips and chicken fried steak. One of them got sick right after the meal. Needless to say we won 't be back. Cute atmosphere but the rest of the dining experience needs some work.
