Triple J Retaurant And Pansit Cabagan

I ordered the Pancit Cabagan, and it was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and topped generously with crispy pork. They also serve bilao and a variety of other homemade dishes. Water and utensils are self-serve. The ordering process was a bit confusing, as the person taking orders is on one side, while the cashier is on the other. The restaurant is quite charming and has a parking area. Inside, it is spacious with plenty of tables, but for some reason, they only have ceiling fans for cooling.

The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, but the service could use improvement. We received the wrong dishes, and it appeared that some guests were given priority due to personal connections rather than the order in which they arrived. Sadly, the food was also quite disappointing.

The food, service, and ambiance are all outstanding. The prices are quite reasonable, and the environment is impeccably clean.

I ordered pancit cabagan and batil patong, and both dishes were definitely rich in sauce. I must say that their cabagan was better than the batil. Having visited Tuguegarao and experienced authentic batil patong there, I feel I have a good basis for comparison. Typically, they serve egg broth with batil, but that wasn't available at Triple J. Still, we really enjoyed the cabagan; it brought back fond memories of my solo trip to Cabagan, Isabela, where I first tasted the true flavor of this pancit.

**Cleanliness: 5/10** The restrooms were clean, but there was no soap, toilet paper, or hand dryer available. While the dining area appeared generally tidy, it was uncomfortably warm. The air conditioning and ceiling fans were off, and both doors were shut, despite having around 20 customers inside. We had to turn on the ceiling fan ourselves because the lack of air circulation made it unbearable. **Additional Comments:** We left the restaurant at 6:17 PM, while the staff lingered for another 17 minutes after closing. The cashier provided the worst service we've encountered, seemingly irritated at having to stay a little longer. We weren't the last customers; two other groups arrived after us, and they even turned away several others who wanted to place takeout orders. **Recommendation:** I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant due to the subpar food and service. The cleanliness was mediocre at best, but the entire experience was quite disappointing.
