Contribuisci feedbackI came here with a coworker twice within one week because the food was great, BUT the customer service we received from the owners were extraordinary! James and Anita truly know how to make you feel welcomed the moment you walk through the door until the moment you walk out. We had the fried chicken on one day and the fish on another. The chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned to perfection. James even took the time to make a fresh batch for my coworker. He was engaging and talked with us as if we had been friends for years. The next visit we had the fish which was prepared with the same tasteful results as the chicken. A little souther twist he shared with us was that the fish needed to be eaten with onion and pickle to bring out the exceptional flavor of the fish. We were A bit skeptical but after trying this unique pairing he was spot on. Great food, great conversation, and most of all the southern hospitality was the best I’ve ever had. Keep up the good work. Anytime I’m in this area I’ll certain be back!!
We stopped in and had the stuffed baked potatoes with pork and they were delicious. The boudin was also good along with those jalapeno peppers! We will definitely be back!
Since the new owners took over, the one meat plate only comes with one side and a drink (Tea and Juice) no soda. Also they are giving way less meat. And even though the potato salad and cole slaw is supposed to be homemade it looks like it came from a bag. The brisket is very good.
Delicious brisket loaded baked potato, we are definitely making trips back. It will be worth the one hour drive.
I got there at 11am when they opened and had the fried chicken. I've got to say it was the best that I've eaten in a long time. I'll definitely go back for more.
