My friend ordered a bowl of clam chowder and it was sooooo watery. He said it had great flavor but was a soup NOT a chowder. The live music is always great but tonight it was so loud that you literally couldn't hear your party talk. It was quite frustrating. We were seated at the back round table but it was still so loud. Next time maybe we'll sit outside. Overall it was great. Great service and a fun time. See you next time.
TLDR: We had a wonderful experience dining here for the first time. The food was truly exceptional. Lots of gluten free options. We already booked our next reservation. The MENU is relatively small but has a great variety of options with delicious and unique combinations of flavors. They have simplified their menu to remove all unnecessary gluten (they explained), which makes it easier to have more GF options. It's certainly on the pricey side, but the quality is clear. The SERVICE was excellent. They were knowledgeable about what's in the dishes and happy to check labels when I had specific allergy concerns. They were attentive and seemed to use a team approach to serving us.The ATMOSPHERE is nice and cozy inside, since it's not a huge space. And they have a lovely patio in front. It was too chilly for us outside, even with the heaters. They also have garage doors to open the space but closed the one next to us as it got colder (which I was thankful for). They have live music on Friday and Saturday, although it was a bit loud for us since we sat so close. It's one of our new favorites!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options
Between the live music (smooth jazz), the ambiance (comfortable cool with great service), and the food (I had the lobster pot pie and my husband had the seabass), this place has everything! We live near Fountain Hills but it's worth the drive. Highly recommend.
This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The staff and service was amazing. The appetizers, chicken wings and oysters Rockefeller were amazing, so good! I had the agave martini and it was delicious. I was however disappointed with my main dish and the wedge salad that I had. The salad lacked flavor and the lettuce was not that fresh. I was not particularly crazy about the fried pork belly they put on it; it was too sweet. My main dish, the Wagyu meatloaf, was so disappointing. The vegetables served with it were undercooked, crunchy carrot and broncollini that I could not bite into and it lacked flavor. The meatloaf was mushy and had undercooked, crunchy carrots in it. I so wanted to like it, but I just could not eat it. The mashed potatoes were very good though. My husband had the seafood dish with pasta, shrimp, scallops and mussels in it and he enjoyed it very much. The band playing was really good and we enjoyed listening to them. We would definitely go back for the appetizers and seafood dish.
What a great experience!! They had live music and the lighting was awesome. I had the Chilean sea bass, oysters, and mussels. OMG, so good! Staff was extremely attentive and friendly.Kid-friendliness: Brought my 4 year old, they have high chairs.
