The Monks Brook is a brilliant pub that brings the community together. The food is always cooked to perfection- I recommend the wraps! And the drinks are always poured really well. The atmosphere on an event night is great and their social media is kept up to date so is brill to check before going down! Cocktails are fab too, we usually get a Godfather and a Sex on the Beach! Staff are kind, funny and welcoming and knew our order as we went back up to the bar for the next round. Vegetarian options: So many veggie options!! Quorn burger and the hunters style quorn are two items I’d recommend! Nice to not have to stick to chickpea curry all the time! Dietary restrictions: Excellent choice of meat, veggie and vegan options- staff knew a lot about the menu and easily answered any questions. Parking: Loads of spots, directly in front and next to building. Kid-friendliness: Friendly to kids in the day, entire huge beer garden with a playset out the back and lots of choices from a kids menu Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible with a proper toilet that you can use a radar key for access to. There is a ramp going into the front door and the gate for the garden is wide enough for a wheelchair from the car park. Huge parking spaces so no worrying about getting in/out of car.
