Not one time did he come to greet us at our table but instead he greeted several tables all around us. To have him stop by for a quick hello was not much to ask for. However, waiter-Adam was super polite, helpful and courteous along with the other manager (bald guy-sorry forgot the name, who just returned to that location). We will be back but just hope that experience with Johnny is better next time!
Service has gone down hill the last few times we’ve been in. Courses were rushed. Starter forgotten about. Drinks slow. Steak was good. Other entree overcooked. Celebration visit barely acknowledged. Don’t forget where y'all came from.
I made reservations for 2 people at chophouse in chapin my husband and I ordered drinks the server put it on the wrong table so the customer picks up my glass at the top and tells the server that is not theirs. My husband and I order his steak medium rare, mine medium they came out and mine was rare and his was medium then we get our check we give the server a 75.00 gift card and a debit card for the balance, she brings the check and it was 95.00 more dollars put on our card my husband got the server to the table and question it you got it ! It was also wrong so he fixed the ticket we only owe 59.00 we paid it and left the restaurant I'm not sure if we will be back there again at this point Linda Branham
We thuoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Chophouse at Chapin. Kathern did a great job and we were visited by a manager several times to see if everything was alright. The food was excellent and we topped it off with a Chocolate fudge cake. Thanks to the people at the Chophouse for making our Christmas eve celebration an enjoyable one.
We have been here a few times before and have always enjoyed our experience. This time we had our daughter and her fiance for a before Christmas treat. He ordered the lamb chops and said they tasted like mutton. We had ordered, as we have many times before, the warm pimento cheese fondue but this time they came with pork rinds? This was not a good taste. My husband ordered a Manhatten with bourbon, house bourbon, and it cost $27. Last time we were there it was either $12 or $14. My stuffed chicken breasts were not stuffed and the chicken breasts were layered with spinach between them and they had to weigh at least a pound. I am not sure who they are serving but the portions are extremely large. My daughter's fiance had ordered a second wine that never arrived and fortunately we were not charged. Overall, not like the past experiences we have had at this restaurant.
