Brick Salt +kitchen - Charleston

I went because of the menu that is posted online. That menu is NOT their current menu and hasn't been for years as the gentleman behind the bar told us. He was a very nice man and the service was great, however, there isn't too much to choose from food wise, as in a steak or salmon, etc. We did get the pork wontons and they were pretty good! Had 1 drink and went around the corner to Outback.

While they do have a bar, they close a bit too early to actually be considered as such. I mean 11pm is late for a kitchen and early for a bar so I guess they cut it down the middle. Anyhoo, great food, very relaxed atmosphere. Staff very attentive and friendly.

I wasn't there long. I didn't even order any food. The person that accompanied me there ordered a chicken salad. It came quick, it smelled delicious, looked great. However I ordered a **** Mary cocktail and it came in the wrong glass it had heavily salted rim.(they don't come with salted rims.eeeeewwww. it was half hour untill they closed for the evening. Great atmosphere and service treats you well. Portions could be a bit larger but nice selection.

Highly anticipated eating here. I was really looking forward to the braised shortribs… Menu online is different from the table menu. Place was understaffed and really busy. 15 minutes of no contact with server, our party of 4 left and went to Outback Steakhouse around the corner.
