Second State Coffee - Charleston

I tried Second State coffee when visiting Charleston about a year ago and ever since I came back home I have been ordering 4 bags a month of their Heavy Weight Coffee. The most perfectly balanced, smooth, coffee I have tried and would highly recommend everyone to try this place. I compare most coffee now to Second State. They set the bar for my expectations of great coffee.

Best avocado toast I’ve ever had! Was a very large slice with quite a bit of avocado, well worth it for the price. Also very good Chai Latte and a decent AmericanoFood: 5/5

I am a tour guide in Charleston and a coffee-lover, and this is the best coffee I have had in Charleston. The staff is all very friendly and talented, the prices are roughly the same as Starbucks but the quality in barista training and items on the menu is an order of magnitude higher. There is one a 5 minute walk from my house and I almost never go anywhere else for coffee.

Stopped in for coffee one morning while visiting the area and HAD to try the waffles! The lemon, blueberry were really good. The brewed coffee was excellent as well!Food: 5/5

The coffee was really good. I had a waffle with prosciutto and my company had a waffle with peanut butter and bananas both were really good. They have tables outside. Bathroom was very clean.Food: 5/5
