The service at this restaurant was mediocre. The male staff was fairly attentive, but lacked friendly vibes. However, the woman who greeted us was friendly and courteous. The food was a bit salty. The pretzels were meant to come with a mustard dip, but we opted for cheese instead. Unfortunately, the mustard was missing. The pretzels themselves were soft and tasty, despite being overly salty. The shrimp poppers were well portioned and came with a delicious sauce. However, the saltiness of the sauce overpowered the flavors. The cheeseburger was good with plenty of fries, and the fried pickles were as expected. The oysters were a standout, being large, lightly steamed, and delicious. I will definitely be returning for those. Finding good oysters can be challenging. The draft beer my friend ordered was a bit flat, possibly due to lack of demand. The canned drinks he ordered had no issues.
Everything was good, except the food was way too salty. The Pub pretzels were good after you wiped the excess salt off, but that's normal for pretzels. I ordered the Shrimp and Flounder Plate with fries, I substituted my coleslaw for BBQ beans. The shrimp and Flounder were so salty I couldn't take 3 bites. I think it was the breading because the shrimp was good if you took the breading off. The fries were good, but the BBQ beans had too much going on.
Ribs were very good as was most of the meal. Bit busy during the lunch hour
Had the fish, shrimp with hush puppies. Delicious and freshly made per order. Highly recommend.
