Crafty Crab Seafood - Charlotte

I waited at the door for 5 minutes, it's not even full or busy, no one gets me. I finally spoke up after 5 minutes and after they sat me down, no drinks were brought to me and I'm still waiting for my order to be taken... horrible service, I don't recommend this place at all.

The shopping center the Crafty Crab is located in is such a cute place. My daughter fed ducks at the pond before we went inside to eat. The food was delicious and a generous amount was given. My 4yo daughter and I shared a shrimp ? and crawfish combo which I’ve never seen offered at other restaurants before but it was perfect for us! Would love to dine here again?

I walked in and the hostest was very nice. However they asked me if I was 18 or older. They said that we are not allowed to eat there unless they add gratuity to our bill. Our server Vivian was also rude and tried to rush us out of the restaurant. I didn’t not enjoy my

My 17 year old daughter and her 2 friends came into this restaurant. Upon being seated they were asked their age. Not for the purpose of rather or not they could purchase alcohol but for the purpose of if they are not 18 and up gratuity would be automatically added to their bill. That is DISCRIMINATION.1st off gratuity is a tip. A tip that is based on service. Of course we understand the rule of large parties would automatically have gratuity added but they wanted to add gratuity based on their age. This is unheard of!! I am going to contact one of my attorney friends and just see if this is illegal. I am very disappointed and CRAFTY CRAB you never have to worry about having me as a customer.Kid-friendliness: TERRIBLE
