Jackie Boys Grill Tap - Charlotte

This restaurant is quite good, it's the kind of place where you feel like a regular because they make you feel right at home. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food was decent. The General Manager really takes care of the place, so big shout out to him.

I was somewhat disappointed to find that my receipt accurately reflected my order, but the items I received did not match. I have ordered the same thing from this restaurant a few times in the past, so I am uncertain why there was an issue this time. I would consider returning the incorrect items, but that would defeat the convenience of using Uber Eats.

My husband went to pick up our order because Uber Eats said it was ready, but it wasn't. After waiting 30 minutes, he finally received it, only to discover that the chicken quesadilla was greasy and missing the guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. It was tasteless and had no seasoning at all. When I called the restaurant to complain, the manager, who didn't identify herself, suggested that my husband drive back to get the missing items. The Philly cheese sandwich was just okay. I would not return to this restaurant.

My parents were in town and I wanted to take them somewhere they have never been before, so we went to Jackie Boys Grill Tap. They absolutely loved it! What a hidden gem! Friendly atmosphere with a bar and TVs. Great service. The wings were fried to perfection with a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. The chicken quesadillas were huge with super fresh toppings. Stopped by otw home from a softball tournament. Small place, but good atmosphere and menu. All good was good! Would come back again.
