World Of Beer - Charlotte

The restaurant is very close to our residence in the center of Charlotte, but we decided to pick up something to eat for a concert at Bank of America Stadium. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow.

Wob used to be my usual/regular place when I lived in tx. When I moved here last year, I was excited because charlotte had one! when my best friend of tx visited, we drove past a day in the city. after running in summer heat, we took a seat on the bar that died of thirst and also intended to eat. but even the place had 5 people in it, we were never waiting for it. we sat there for about 10/15 minutes while barkeepers just passed by without saying a single word. Finally, we're just up and down, and it's sad that the location was a complete demolition. it will never come again.

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times before Covid hit and it used to be the epicenter of the area. However, on my most recent visit, I was very disappointed. My party was seated at a table meant for a baby, which was not a big deal, but our server never returned after taking our initial drink order. We decided to grab a quick bite and a few drinks before heading to a Charlotte FC football game, but the beer selection was limited. I had to flag down the bartender to place our food order, but she said she couldn't help us. Our drinks took 15 minutes to arrive and the service was slow overall. When our food finally came, it was cold. The bathrooms were also dirty and I saw vomit in the urinal, which was unsanitary and made me feel disgusted. I will not be returning to this restaurant and I advise others to steer clear as well. It appears that they may have poor hygiene practices.

The food was very good. mac and cheeses are definitely worth a try. large beer selection and the cocktails were also good.

I recently had the best wings in a long time at this restaurant! Our waiter Freddy was fantastic. I highly recommend trying the Sailor Punch cocktail if you enjoy fruity/mixed drinks.
