Guadalajara - Charlottesville

We stopped here as a family while in Charlottesville for UVA freshman orientation. As former Texans, the food was really good! I had the fish tacos and the pico was fresh, burned my mouth a bit but in a good way. My husband had something with shrimp and vegetables that were so tasty I cleaned his veggies up when he had come to his stopping point. Definitely will return in the years kiddo is in school. Glad we found this place our first trip out!

The best Mexican food I've ever had. I highly recommend the Camarones Diablo the sauce was absolutely AMAZING. the outdoor seating is dog friendly and is such a chill place to hang out. Out server Carlos was very nice and gave us great service as well. 5 stars!

I used to be a fan of this location, having dined here for over 30 years! but it has changed recently. The food was so so. Entrees were good, but the beans and rice not so much. The beer was cold, and they sell by the pitcher which was great. Service was good. The bathrooms are a wreck. Very small, and very dirty. The Greenbrier location is much nicer.

This place is my GO-TO! It’s so very nice has the most AMAZING food HAND down!

I had lunch here with a group and thought the food was okay but not outstanding. Seemed like basic Mexican food with nothing to really distinguish it. Having lived in Texas for 10 years, I've been to a lot of Mexican and Tex-Mex places, so I was looking for something a little better than average. They have a lot of options on the menu, which is a plus, so maybe I needed to try something different.
