The service was perfect and the vegan special dish for Veg It Up Week was delicious.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Mavors last night. The meal was delicious, and we felt it was a great value for our money. Our server, Katie, was excellent, making it a thoroughly enjoyable evening! The only downside was that despite there being many empty tables, we were seated in a brightly lit area with uncomfortable chairs. Although there were candles on the tables, they were not lit, and the lights were not dimmed. We will definitely return, but next time we will request a table in a different area with softer lighting and more comfortable seating. Overall, we had a great experience, but improving the ambience a bit would be our only suggestion.
The seafood chowder at this restaurant is the best I've ever had, and I've traveled extensively. The other dishes are also exceptional, as is the service. Additionally, a selection of appetizers are half price after 9 pm. After seeing the Anne of Avonlea show, we stopped in for some snacks and drinks, which was a lovely surprise.
Went for dinner last night. Our server, Melanie was great. My scallop risotto (the special was to die for. My husband's steak (with the extra $6 mushrooms was good but not $40 good. We'll be back :
