Bluefin Sushi - Chatswood

The 74% like rate on Urbanspoon is too generous unfortunately. It's probably the second worst sushi train that I've been to but it does have convenience on it's side being located right near the cinemas in Chatswood's Westfields. My worst experience is here. I don't think the sushi is fresh and the rice is a bit stale. I think maybe the sushi stays on the train for too long. As I was limited on time before my movie, I thought I would try one of their mains. I saw the chefs microwaving the eel before putting it on the rice. The eel tasted very much like it came from the microwave. I ate a few spoonfuls out of desperate hunger and went to my movie! Give this one a miss if you can.

This place consistently serves fresh sushi no matter what time of day it is. The salmon sashimi here always delivers what is expected freshness, creaminess and of course that tender texture salmon sashimi is renowned for.

Blue Fin Sushi has been my quick, simple and tasty sushi train fix for the good part of the last 9 years all through university, through various jobs, a house move and multiple renovations (theirs and mine Being a massive fan of Japanese, I've tried many a train, but find myself consistently coming back to this one. I'll put this down to the fact that they do all my faves really well takoyaki, crab claw and green tea soba noodles just to name a few and the value. Obviously this place has just being rating themselves high and writing their own reviews. Worst sushi train I've been too. All the dishes seemed just clumsily made half the sushi plates didn't even have a lid on them. Feels like they just put anything on a plate and charge you for it, there was literally a tiny cube of boiled lectuce with peanut sauce on it. Just no.

Not just an ordinary Sushi train place! Great sushi and sashimi, service was excellent! All dishes were fresh. reasonable price! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!
