However, we were not informed that we must finish everything on the plate, including the oversized portion of chips that comes with the ribs. This was only mentioned to us when we asked for more ribs. Adding to the disappointment, the second serving of ribs also came with another large portion of chips. Overall, the offer was misleading and the quality of the ribs was average. I do not recommend this restaurant and will not be going back.
I have walked past Lone Star every time I visit The District at Chatswood interchange, and finally decided to try their all-you-can-eat ribs for $29.95. I saw the advertisement on a board outside the restaurant and was excited for a yummy bargain. However, my experience turned out to be disappointing. The waiter informed us that we had to finish our ribs and wings before ordering more, which seemed fair. But when our plate arrived, it included a large portion of ribs, wings, chicken meat, and an excessive amount of chips. Despite enjoying the ribs and wings, I could not finish the chips. When I requested a refill, I was told I needed to finish the chips first, which was not mentioned in the initial advertisement. I spoke to the manager, who explained that the terms and conditions were on their Facebook page. I found it unreasonable to expect all customers to read the Facebook page before dining. The manager suggested I leave a comment in their book for her boss, but I was dissatisfied with the overall experience. I do not recommend this restaurant due to misleading advertising and poor customer service. It would be beneficial for them to clearly outline the terms in the menu provided to customers. I will not be returning to Lone Star and suggest others inquire about the terms before sitting down.
We were greeted by very friendly staff, including the manager, who allowed us to choose our seating. Our food arrived promptly, allowing us to enjoy the free jug of peanuts. The menu included ribs priced at around $33, with the option to add a rump steak for just $1 more, which my wife enjoyed and had trouble finishing. The selection of sides including chips, baked potato, sweet potato, or mashed potato was excellent. I chose the Atlantic Salmon and also tasted my wife's steak, both of which were delicious. We paired our meals with ice cold beers for a thoroughly enjoyable lunch experience. We highly recommend this restaurant!
The sign says all you can eat ribs and wings, however they came with an enormous amount of chips which they expect us to finish before we can ask for more ribs and wings. Dishonest in dealing. See ad and you'll understand what I'm talking about.
Ordered drinks. Tried to order food. Tried again. And again. After 30 minutes spat dummy. Left. (Tried to escalate to manager but turns out the sales avoidance executive we were dealing with was the manager). If you are seeking a spot where you can sit undisturbed without fear of interruption, this is the place. Otherwise avoid. (Really can't comment on the food. Not convinced it exists)
