Ali's - Chennai

This was our first visit to the place. We decided to try out the 50% off offer on Dineout 's Great Indian Restaurant Festival. There are selected restaurants where such deals are available. The ambience of the place was really great. The interiors looked posh and very serene. The customer service here is better than most places I 've been in. They are quick, very responsive and they take care of your needs well. What we ordered: Corn cheese balls, Masala Kulcha, Mix Veg. Curry, Schezwan Egg Fried Rice, Vanilla Single Sundae, Butterscotch Ice cream. Complementary: Pomegranate juice as a welcome drink The food quality, though not exceptional, was good enough for the pricing. I loved the corn cheese balls particularly. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, fried to the perfect amount. The masala kulcha and the Mix veg curry were good too, although they didn 't stand out as exceptional. The same goes for the Egg Schezwan fried rice. The butterscotch ice cream was delicious, with caramel frostings in it. The vanilla sundae however was just average. The vanilla tasted like one of those packed ice creams. Altogether, it was a good lunch, and the 50% off deal made it all the better. If it weren 't for that deal, it would not have been such a great experience. Deals availed: 50% off on the total bill amount using 'Dineout ' app. Bill amount: Rs. 720. Service was good. the ambiente was pleasant. negative part is foods were not that spicy, especially huh fried rice and chicken alfaham and another thing was ice price is too hard, compared to other hotels

Some, as it is very good eating and very posh ambiente and comfortable sitting. but so many negative feedbacks for this restaurant I don't know why. management must focus this problem and it as fast as early.....price won't be too expensive, compare it with this ambiente and food.....Service fine

I should give 10/5 starts. Because I have ordered a Mutton biriyani 12:30 AM and it was in my hands 1 AM. Very fast delivery. The packing was great and biriyani taste was also great.

It's a nice connection. has a good shawerma, so just to have given full marks. but the other thing like fried rice and grilled chicken is average. nothing great to break out of the clutter. I would prefer grilled chicken from fatoosh or Arab hat every day. but a good connection for a good fun. prices and portions are good.
