Lilac Cottage Tapas Wine

Upon arrival, we noticed that a quarter of the menu items were unavailable, including drinks and food. When we tried to order, we were informed that 4 or 5 more menu items were not available as well. The food we did receive was lukewarm, and the pork belly with honey was overly covered in honey, making it rock solid. The seats were uncomfortable with no padding. The waitresses had limited knowledge of the menu and had to check for answers to customers' questions. Despite visiting early on a Saturday night, many menu items were unavailable. Overall, we were disappointed with both the food and service at this restaurant, as we had high expectations.

Been here a few times now and never disappointed. We had a family meal last weekend and it was delicious. Best tapas Iv had in a long time and very reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and great cocktail list. Can also highly recommend the bottomless brunch that Iv had before with friends. Thank you lilac for a wonderful meal. Can’t wait to come back

I visit this restaurant quite often and have recommended it to others many times. i think the service is excellent and the girls working always go above and beyond to meet our needs and ensure we are satisfied. The food always comes out in reasonable times and i particularly recommend the prawn skewers, they are always fresh and filled with lots of taste. I will definitely continue to recommend this restaurant and i hope they continue to deliver their excellent customer service.

Upon arrival i was greeted by a lovely young lady. I believe her name was akkelah. I was seated very quickly and given a menu. The only way i can describe as my cup of tea. Drinks and food were fast and delicious and worth every penny. Ashwell the constant company of the delightful waitress making sure we had a pleasant time defiantly deserves a raise I will defiantly be re visiting again. If the young waitress sees this we would like to say a very big thank you for making are visit the best. The atmosphere of this establishment is very warm and friendly and something i appreciate is the level of community. All the staff looked very happy and friendly and all had a huge smile. thank you lilac we will be back soon :

Seriously gone down hill don’t bother. Food came and it was stone cold. The waiter heated it up but it was terrible. We mentioned it to the manager and she bit our heads off. Never to return again!
