Southern Taste Diner - Chesterfield

Charming little restaurant with delicious food and a very friendly staff. I'm quite satisfied and will definitely return.

So, it's like eating in your favorite aunt's house. You will be greeted, warmly, by not only the staff but regulars that happen to be there. The food isn't fancy, but delicious and made with love. The portions are big. The menu is filled with all your favorite comfort foods. You'll be treated like family and leave satisfied, wondering why you hadn't been here sooner. Oh, my favorite breakfast item is the California omelet. I definitely recommend trying this gem of a restauy.

This is cafeteria food at best. Overcooked, unsalted eggs, home fries that are crispy outside yet somehow still raw inside, microwaved bacon and the absolute worst sausage. I hope we just came on a really bad day.

I recently discovered this restaurant and have only visited a couple of times, but I was truly impressed by the food—everything was delicious and authentically Southern. Having grown up in the countryside, I can say this is the best Southern cuisine I've encountered so far, and the prices are quite reasonable. The collard greens, in particular, are bursting with flavor and simply exceptional!

Very disappointed in the country fried steak. It's something like you'd receive in a middle school cafeteria. Black eyed peas were delicious. Service was excellent.
