It is a hidden gem in D.C.'s history, located on Wisconsin Avenue amidst the modern hustle and bustle. The menu offers hearty Italian dishes and home brewed Flying Dog beer, with unmatched quality in both selection and service. As you indulge in the delicious pizza and stromboli, you can imagine the Kennedys visiting the nearby shoe shop for their daughters' ballet shoes many years ago. Despite changes over the years, this restaurant provides a unique and classic dining experience that is worth the visit.
The original Stromboli is the best Stromboli in town. The pizza is probably the best in Bethesda, recently passing Victors which has declined in quality in the past few months. Service is fine for the type of restaurant it is, this isn't a fine dining establishment so don't expect a professional wait staff. Bottom line: I love Stromboli's.
Sttromboli is a Bethesda staple. Long after the gentrification of Bethesda ends Stromboli will still be here. .
I live in Florida and have been working at Walter Reed Medical Center for the past 2 months. I came across this restaurant 6 weeks ago and have been having dinner there every week since then. I have tried something new each time and everything has been excellent. I even buy frozen Stromboli to take home for my family on Friday nights. I highly recommend this place.
I read many of the reviews and I wonder why some are not as good as they should be. I ordered the stromboli, I thought it was pretty good. The service is okay, it wasn't bad. The restaurant is a little out dated, its old. But my stromboli was good and I was happy that I came in here.
