I was here twice now, the first time I ordered the tofu red Ragu with the big pasta, it looked amazing, but was sad a bit amazing my friend got the meat version and told me that was amazing. The second time I got the Broccoli Pesto with the middle pasta and the first few bites were amazing, but then the taste of garlic (I think) was very strong and it was too much for me to finish the meal. Otherwise nice staff, nice quiet location, large portions. A bit on the pricier side, but still nothing compared to Western standards.
I am incredibly happy that Pasta Corner now makes delicious pizza with vegan cheese! For me the highlight is incredibly vegan pesto sauce (best I tried in Chiang Mai) but tomato sauce is also made right. It's still the only place I'd eat Italian cuisine. Cooked by Italian cook from authentic ingredients (or as close as it is possible for vegan options), not some fusion nonsense. If you like Italian pizza on thin crust and homemade pasta, you must come here! Delivery is also possible, including Foodpanda. Updated by previous review on 2018-08-04
I really appreciate the trouble they went with the vegan options in this restaurant. As soon as I came to the guy, I immediately wondered if I was vegan. It has only a little handwritten menu at the moment, but it consists of several different pastas and several different sauce options as well as vegan black lasagna. Some side dishes and appetizers are also vegan. My only complaint would be that the portion sizes should be larger for the price you pay. The black vegan lasagna tasted great and you can't find anything else in Chiang Mai.
I was delighted to see authentic homemade Italian cuisine offered with vegan options. There is a unique variety of handmade pasta that is ice-free. I ordered the pumpkin gnocchi with pesto sauce and cheese. (all vegan) The owner is from Italy and is always in the restaurant so you know everything it is done well! Visit a must! We even discussed the idea of vegan tiramisu...a vegan can dream! Lol. I couldn't give this rating five stars, but my rating is definitely five stars!
I was thrilled to discover a restaurant that offers authentic, homemade Italian cuisine with vegan options. The menu features a diverse selection of handcrafted pasta, all of which are egg-free. I opted for the pumpkin gnocchi with pesto sauce and vegan cheese, and it was delicious. The owner, who is from Italy, is always present in the restaurant, ensuring that everything is well-prepared. This is a must-visit establishment! We even talked about the possibility of a vegan tiramisu - a vegan's dream come true! While I can't give it a five-star rating, my experience definitely deserves five stars!
