I took my fiancé here for sweetest day for a soul food dinner. Neither he nor I have ever been here. The food was delicious. We started with the soul rolls which was captivating, they caught us by surprise with what was in them but tasted so freaking good together.. Wiped my plate clean! A true home-cooked meal with a very homey vibe. This is a gem and I can?t wait to not only tell people about this place, but to come back again and again!

This is a cant miss jerk chicken. The heat is all there, but has good flavor and is nicely cooled with a side of greens and red bean rice. The place is unprentenious and just down-home carribean/southern comfort food. Definitely will be back!

We was not ready for the flavors we received from Chef Kellys cooking! Hands down THE BEST Soul Food restaurant in Chicago!! We ordered the jerk dinner with yams, rice and peas, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese. The chicken was grilled to a delightful crisp, but miraculously fell off the bone.
