Jersey Mike's Subs - Chicago

The customer service at this restaurant was terrible. I had placed an online order, as I typically do at least once a week. The app stated that I could go to the counter to pick up my order contactlessly. When I arrived at the establishment, there were no customers waiting and no orders on the counter, but my order was sitting there. I checked the bag to confirm that it was mine, when a young black man behind the counter told me to put it back! I explained that it was my order and gave him my name, the amount, and what was in the bag. At this point, a young white girl rudely said that they didn't care about the young man and that I shouldn't order from there anymore. I insisted that I could order from there if I wanted to. I was dressed in business attire and felt disrespected by their lack of customer service. If they had just confirmed my order, I wouldn't have had an issue. Both employees need better customer service training to improve the image of their location. Another young man in the back just shook his head, displaying rude and disrespectful behavior.

The manager was impolite. I was also refused a cup to drink water from. The tables were filthy.

The woman who worked behind the counter was extremely rude and unprofessional. they lied how long the waiting time was on hot sandwiches, and we heard that she said that to another employee. all the others worked professionally, but this lady ruined the experience for our whole group!

My friend and I ordered a large sandwich with a side of sub without ham. When we asked the staff to switch the ham for another ingredient, they treated us as if we were foolish and refused to accommodate our request. I have had no issues customizing my sandwich at other places in Michigan. If you want to customize your sub, I would suggest not coming here.

Jersey Mike's beats the competition hands down, fresh cut meats not salty at all, like Jimmy John's.
