Lindy's Chili Gertie's Ice Cream

Great place for American food: cheeseburgers, chilli fried/cheese fries, hot dogs, chilli bowls. The milkshakes are the best part! Absolutely recommend them if you are near Richard Daley college/Midway area. The guys in there are very friendly andthere?s stuff animals everywhere, how cute.

Jaime took our order. She was absolutely amazing! This place has so many options you can't go wrong. The banana split was the largest I've ever had. Wishing we had this place in Arizona. Antonio created this amazingly delicious dessert that was at leasta foot high. Everything about this place harkens the 1960's, generous portions and a smiling face is what you'll get when youcome. The kids sundae was generous as well. Couldn't have asked for a authentic Chicago dessert experience! Great job Jaime andAntonio!

The best for old fashioned ice cream creations like banana splits, malts, phosphates and nabisco sundaes. They have the most creamy ice cream that I have ever tasted, 2nd only to Blue Belle???? Soooo yummy!

Absolutely LOVE this place. Southside staple for sure. If you haven't been, GO. Everything is handmade, Fresh and delicious HOT FUDGE SUNDAE IS LIFE.
