We came in near their closing time, so everything was getting put away (100% understandable . They were able to accommodate our take out order of a chicken sandwich and fries, and the cashier was so kind on managing our order as well as a few other late comers! (Service 10/5! The chicken sandwich was decent, great chicken and onions, just wish they had a spicer version. The Smash Fries were so oily and a small quantity. (Food 3/5 . Might go again to try a Smash Burger, but I will avoid the fries.
All the reviews are right, the service at this place SUCKS. The people hate their lives, they are rude and are probably forced to be there. When we entered, there was no one at the registers, so we waited to place our order. The cashier didnt even crack a smile.... weird and uncomfty. They brought our burgers to the table and threw the plates without asking who they were for (we were a party of 10). The prices..... lord. We paid almost 50 dollars for two burgers, one portion of fries and two drinks. Its not cheap, but the question is, was it worth it? Eh. The food tastes good, but its not out of this world. I would much rather have spent that money else where. My friends liked it, but we all got different things so I guess it depends. All in all, I am not a Chicago local, but im willing to bet that there are better places to eat for 50 bucks.
Their mushroom Swiss burger is the business, try it! It's definitely a good burger place to keep on your list for the city of Chicago. The truffle mayo is the best! I think you will be back, if you give them a try but check it out yourself.
Food is readable , the staff attitude especially their supervisor( older chubby guy who works at night was very rude with a lot of customers and make you feel unwanted.I certainty will not come back to this branch.Sweet water burger is a few steps down the road and is very pleasant staff and excellent food and burgers
