The Alderman - Chicago

Fast service and the food is prepared quickly. In the summer they have an outdoor dining space in the back that is very pleasant. During the winter they enclose a portion of that and keep it heated for dining. They often have live DJs. The music is kind of loud at times so just expect that. All of the food I have tried there is good. They have a ton of gluten free options and they will let you know if there is expected cross contamination, like with frying oil. I particularly liked the carne asada and the queso fundido. Typically you can walk in on weeknights but I would get a reservation just to be safe. For Christmas they do a giftcard sale that comes out to be 125 dollars for 100 dollars.

The customer service was so awesome, my friends and I couldn't stop talking about it. Half our party came late, but they were so accommodating and understanding! I had The Burger: DELICIOUS! Definitely try the Chocolate Churro dessert!

Food is just amazing I don’t even know what to say!! Just come try the burger on Thursdays!! Best price super worth it and Rico and Charlie are just amazing and helpful and responsive!!! Def. Recommend this place. I’ll probably even be back tomorrow

Servers were nice and came back quickly to take our order. The food came out very quickly and it was cooked well and delicious. the food is amazing no matter what you try you'll probably like it.

I'd actually call this a 4 1/2 but can't round up cuz it's just been one visit. I will say that service definitely makes Pilsen Yards stand out. We didn't have a reservation and they were getting busy but found us a great booth for the four of us. We were near the host stand so maybe that's why we got great service? Between the owner, the server and the host stopping by to check in, we were set. We ordered numerous items...can't recall what everyone else had, but I will say that there were multiple options for this pescatarian. Shishitos and salmon are a go-to for me, and they did not disappoint. Also started with their Mezcal margarita. Yum. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.
