The Original Pancake House - Chicago

Quickly seated. Service was kind and sufficiently attentive. My breakfast food was very good and hot. Got a coffee carafe and I like that. The seating was close, but nobody was sitting in my lap like some Chicago restaurants. It has the feel of a place some of us grew up in. I like this chain generally and this small version seemed to belong in the neighbor where it sits.

MEGA! We came across this place by chance. But the food was delicious and the service was great. Whenever we get back to Chicago, we'll get back there.

Overall an excellent stop for breakfast! The service was great. The place was crowded, but they treat it well. Move quickly, but do not hurry while you enjoy your meal. My omelet was really good as the side of the pancakes. Nice place with lots of things going on. My blessing was fantastic!

I ordered an omelet and got a great breakfast! A very pleasant place, faster and professional waiter service and a price that will not kill you. I highly recommend this place.

Really enjoyed the strawberry pancakes. Fluffy buttermilk pancakes and the homemade strawberry sauce was very nice. Skip the hot chocolate but it tastes like Instant Swiss Mix
