Koffee Kup Bakery - Chicopee

I have ordered from Koffee Kup Bakery a few times, and my previous experiences with their cupcakes have been exceptional! However, my most recent order was disappointing. I ordered 60 cupcakes for a friend's birthday, requesting a mix of vanilla and chocolate flavors with a burgundy and light pink frosting swirl design to match the theme. I provided them with inspiration photos, and they confirmed the design in the colors I specified. Unfortunately, when I arrived to pick up my order at the scheduled time, I was informed that my cupcakes had not been made due to a scheduling error on their part. They mistakenly scheduled the order for Saturday instead of Thursday at 4:30PM. They were able to accommodate my order using available cupcakes, but I had to wait for the decorator to return to apply the frosting, causing an additional inconvenience given my tight schedule. When I finally received the cupcakes, I was disappointed with the quality. The decorator appeared to have rushed the job, resulting in a messy and inaccurate execution of the colors and design I had requested. The cupcakes were also dry, not meeting the delicious standard I had come to expect from this bakery. Furthermore, the cupcakes were packed in 3 separate boxes, stacked on top of one another, causing the frosting on the cupcakes in the bottom 2 boxes to be flattened and unappealing. While I appreciate Koffee Kup Bakery's efforts to fulfill my order despite the initial oversight, the overall experience was unsatisfactory. The cupcakes lacked the quality, attention to detail, and flavor that I had previously enjoyed.

We purchased a selection of items to sample, including some day-old items which were surprisingly delicious. While the whoopie pies were a bit different than what I am accustomed to, everything else was perfect.
