The fried rice with crispy pork for $20 was disappointing and lacked enough pork to justify the price. The combination of mustard with the duck and crispy pork was a strange and unpleasant choice. We left feeling unsatisfied with our $90 bill for three dishes and would rate this restaurant closer to 2.5 stars instead of the 4.1 it currently holds.Overall, not worth the hype.
The place was okay and the food was nice, but a number of things we wanted from the menu were not available, which was a little shame. Overall, although it was okay, but expensive.
The food at this restaurant is average and expensive. Compared to nearby options, the restaurant believes it is a step above, but in reality it offers similar dishes to Spice Alley in a more upscale setting. The prices are high for the overall experience.
****! Holy F@$k! Chinese street food meets modern Sydney food packed in a warm hug on a cold and windy day.. Start with the Bao and Spring reels, you are welcome to take a glass of Vino and enjoy some of the sweetest duck pancakes... You will ever have the pleasure of tasting! Do it, you know you want to.
They were selling tiny duck bao at the laneway festival. Seemed like good duck but it was hard to tell because there was so little duck. Plus they were card only but still charged a surcharge.
