Sagar Premier Indian Cuisine - Chorley

I visited Sagar on New Year's Day. I have been a loyal customer of this Indian restaurant for about thirty years. However, I have recently noticed a decline in the overall quality of the food and portion sizes, as well as the service. I was disappointed to learn that you can't order a few starters and poppadoms to share without purchasing a main meal. My companion and I spent £35 on various starters and drinks and only stayed for 45 minutes. This would be unacceptable at any other restaurant. Unfortunately, I was not impressed.

On Christmas day, we decided to shake things up and went for an Indian family dinner at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience. We will definitely be returning. Big thanks to all the hardworking staff for their exceptional service.

We have just visited today for our Christmas Day meal and we couldn't fault the service or the food! We went as a table of 10 and the staff were just so well organised in terms of serving food and drinks with no delay. The food was delicious! We will definitely be returning and this is our new favourite Indian restaurant!

Even though we had previously only gotten takeout from this restaurant, it had been years since we dined in. We decided to visit Sagar to meet family who loves Indian cuisine. The waiter was very helpful in assisting us with our menu selection, and the food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

8 of us visited as part of my 60th birthday celebrations. (hard to believe I know). Everyone ordered something different and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. My partner had the sea bass which was exceptional. Staff as always were really friendly and if you’re in this area I would recommend this restaurant. It doesn’t look much from outside but the food and the welcome are great
