El Pollo Grill Otay Ranch - Chula Vista

We decided to stop in because we were packing all day and I knew we could get a delicious meal for a great price. If you haven't bought one of these 1lb meal deals you are missing out. Plenty of food I just wish they gave more tortillas. Generous portions and the guacamole...so fresh. The burritos, breakfast burritos and even the kids meals are fantastic. I will miss this restaurant alot.

??????????Absolutely the BEST Mexican food in the 619!! My whole family loves the authentic refried beans, fresh cilantro and salsa! The Carne Asada fries are delicious (kids favorite) and the Carne Asada mulitas are amazing- cheesy, fresh guacamole, cilantro/onions, seasoned meat all in handmade corn tortillas! We also love the Carne Asada burritos, too- so large we share it! Every family member that comes to visit always ask to go back there! The customer service is topnotch and the patio at the Otay Ranch location is a great place to gather with family or friends!??????????

I came to visit family this past weekend in Otay Ranch and they told me I had to try out El Pollo Grill. It was such a great dining experience. The menudo soup was the best I?ve ever had. I can?t wait to come back again.

El Pollo Grill employees need better training on how to be friendly and inviting, not this blah attitude like they don't want to be there or attend to customers when they want to take an order, or if they come up to the counter to ask for something/have a question. If you work in the customer service industry, provide customer service and learn to be a good host. If that's not you, then get a job hiding in the back of a warehouse. Left a bad taste in my mouth and probably not going back again. That's too bad.

Consistently delicious Mexican food. Locally owned and operated great to support locals and definitely not processed food.
