Red Lobster Chula Vista

Food, service, and vibe was great! Sat in the bar area, I love that area. The service was great too! From the host stand to the food runners, everyone was fast and friendly. I've been to all of the RL locations in SD county, and this is the best one. The other's seem to be stuck in the early 2000's.

We were seated in bar area and I loved the lighting was dimmer and the bartender was great. Very attentive and friendly.

Since we made resevertaions in advance, the hosts told us that our names get moved down to the bottom after every other guest that comes in. I did not find that fair since we waited 30 minutes after our reservation time and party’s that came after us got seated before us.

Service was great, the food good but the raspberry ice tea mango smoothie were below average

I noticed there were empty booths in the bar area. I asked the hostess if I could dine in the bar area. She said she would ask. She asked an older lady with white hair and a pony tail and she rudely said no! They seated me in a crowded area even though there was plenty of seating throughout the restaurant. The fish and chips were terrible. Dried out thin cut fish with mostly dark meat. The bay biscuits were bland and dried out. The worst experience I've had at a Red Lobster. The older lady came by after I paid and had the audacity to ask me to give a five star rating on the survey.?? Really?
