Contribuisci feedbackA hanu restaurant near Hongcheon. There are two buildings which is a butchery and the restaurant. You have to buy beef from the butchery first and then eat it at the restaurant. The price of the beef changes everyday and you have to pay 4000 won per person additionally to use the restaurant. The beef tastes amazing however the jjigae they serve at the restaurant not good. The place is very noisy and crouded. It's hard to expect decent service from this place.
Meal budget per person (without drinks Category 1 (under 60000 KRW, 50 USD It is a restaurant where you can buy the meat (the famous Hongcheon Beef at the butcher shop right next door and grill it right away. It is very popular one and there is a long waiting line even on weekdays. I am satisfied with the price and quality of the meat, but it is too busy, crowded and hectic. It seems to be operated jointly by a farming association, so the ownership seems to be insufficient. Beef Tartare is tasty but cold noodles are not recommendable. (Noodles are too soggy and the broth is not cold and lukewarm. It's a famous restaurant, so it's worth visiting once for a reasonable price.
Meat quality is good but inside restaurant is too crowded and noisy. I recommend take-out over eating in.
