The variety of food, including Japanese black beef, scallop, shrimp, vegetables, and fried rice, was absolutely perfect. When I made a reservation and mentioned my mom's birthday, they surprised us with a cake lettering and joined in the celebration, which made us extremely happy. They even took a photo for us. It was truly the best dining experience.
All about the theatre of dining , experience of a chef who knows what he is doing using excellent food and preparing it right in front of you.
Superb service and great dining experience! The freshly baked baguette dip with butter oil must try. Reasonably priced.
Amazing Teppan yaki experience. Mikasakaikan is a very traditional restaurant so they have very traditional vibe as their ambience. Pricing for lunch was abt ¥5,000-7,000 per person and fairly reasonable. Unlike Benihana, chefs are actually very quiet and less entertaining but you would definitely enjoy the quality of food. Perfect spot for family, friends and date as well. Great for all occasion.
Was looking forward to eating here, but was disappointed with the food and atmosphere. There are over a dozen grills packed into one giant room, so the feeling of exclusivity is gone. It feels more like a Sizzler's (popular American steak chain restaurant) than a tepanyaki. As for the meat, it was not memorable at all especially for how much it costs. Thick and chewy and not tasty. The vegetables were low quality as well. Our chef was slow and inexperienced. I left full, bit not happy.
