This is our go to eatery. I honestly thought I 'd reviewed it long ago. Locally owned and operated, the friendliest staff around and great food are what you can expect from this local treasure. You should note, however, that this is a traditional seafood shack . No AC, picnic tables and indoor/ outdoor seating. They do have ceiling fans and stand fans to keep the air moving, but it can get pretty hot. Don 't let that stop you (we don 't! but be aware. They are also the only place in the area, as far as I know, that you can get a traditional crab feast of fresh steamed, local crabs. I recommend the soft shell sandwich or the Baja Fish Tacos, though my wife always gets the steamed shrimp. Oh and don 't forget the hushpuppies and crab dip!
First time visitors this past weekend. Our family members go frequently. The view is great, right on the water. Food wad good. I had oyster po'boy, six good size oysters. Pick a fish limited to fish of day, makes sense based on what's in stocks. Wings ok, fried. Others happy with their meals. Nice place to watch sunset. Prices very reasonable.
Fresh oysters on the half shell and a glass of beer while sitting by the water. Great place for good food and a view that is beautiful!
My wife enjoys oyster po boys and had one here. She totally enjoyed it. It was a large sandwich. I ordered the "pick-a -fish ' and was disappointed because the mahi was much smaller then I expected. It did taste good.
