The recent renovation of the ra has led to a series of improvements. not clear that this is achieved with gallery cafe. yes, it is brighter and brighter and there is more room, but I think some of the atmosphere is lost. the food remains of the highest quality, although the day we went the service was very bad. it was busy, but not yet packed, but the team struggled with bases how to get tee right; what asks me if the layout works from their perspective. we found two more (new) cafe sites less busy and the next time worth a try.
The café is either budget-friendly or making a statement about climate change. Tea is no longer served in a pot, but only in a cup. Cakes are served on paper plates and the cutlery is bamboo. This has led to a significant decrease in the enjoyment of having afternoon tea after a show. Prices have also changed and, if anything, have increased: a cup of tea and an orange and plant cake. They taste delicious, but the way they are served detracts from the overall experience. The café is managed by Sodexo, who are responsible for a number of England's private prisons: one can only imagine the conditions inmates must face.
The restaurant offers a limited yet carefully curated menu, focusing mainly on healthier options. We had a satisfying light meal, but found the ambiance to be lacking in comfort and a bit too functional.
This cafe offers a variety of food options and serves excellent coffee. However, we were surprised by the higher-than-expected bill. When we called to inquire, we were informed that we had mistakenly looked at the takeout menu and had been charged a service fee. We admit fault for not questioning the bill at the time, but we will be more cautious in the future. It's disappointing that a simple lunch cannot be enjoyed without having to be vigilant about the bill. Lesson learned - never assume!
